Join us Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 10:30am to 1:30pm for a job fair for veteran job seekers, active duty military members, guard and reserve members, and military spouses at the Hospitality & Resort Management Center/Jefferson Davis Campus, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, 420 Debuys Road, Biloxi, MS 39530. This event will be a one-of-a-kind FREE hiring fair for both employers and job seekers.
There will be a job seeker Transition/Employment workshop at 8:30 a.m. at the Hospitality & Resort Management Center/Jefferson Davis Campus, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, 420 Debuys Road, Biloxi, MS 39530.The Workshop for job seekers focuses on resume writing, tips for successfully navigating hiring fairs, military skill translation, and interviewing. The workshops are FREE to veteran job seekers, active duty military members, guard and reserve members, and military spouses.
This Lockheed Martin sponsored hiring event is being conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce, the Naval Construction Battalion Center, Gulfport, MS the Department of Labor's Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Mississippi Committee of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), NBC News, and other local partners.
